In case any of you haven't heard about this yet
While I don't generally believe that violence is the answer, I think that you can only take abuse for so long before you crack. Whether you think that what these kids did was justified or wrong, they had clearly been backed into that corner for too long and when words fall on deaf ears sometimes stronger actions are required.

Somehow, in the 30 minutes that I was at the antiques fair in Alameda, and the 30 minutes that I was hanging with the baby in the backyard, I managed to get pretty sunburned.
My shoulders which I'd burned the previous weekend while camping, had started to burn first, so I quickly covered them up, but my chest and the back of my neck, (stupid lack of hair cover), got very pink. silly me.
I'm not going to think it's so funny when I get skin cancer.
At least my face didn't get burned. I was only wearing a light spf15 on my face, but that seemed to be enough protection.

05:10 pm - I need a makeover
My hair has grown too long and woolly. Gone is that chic little do that can be up did and undone at a moment's notice. In it's place is enough hair for like 3 people.
Also, I need makeup and clothes and... well I neeed a top to bottom,(which is way less weirdly sexual than it sounds here). I'm so a candidate for what not to wear right now it's not even funny.
Maybe when I lose my 10% I'll treat myself to a spa makeover thingy.
I really need my eyebrows professionally done. The one time I had them done, it was at a beauty school right before my wedding and they really didn't do a good job so I'm leary of trying again. I want magnificently groomed, pointy, arched beauties. Anyone have any suggestions?
